For those who want an iron that can remove wrinkles quickly, the Breville VIN412 Supersteam steam iron is certainly worth your consideration. In this review, I will explain the technical specifications, performance capabilities, and include user feedback to help you decide if it's the right fit for your specific ironing needs.
I'm Enda McLarnon, and on my steam iron review website, I have a lot of research experience in the UK and hand's on knowledge about many laundry related products. I have used this VIN412 model so as I can help give you my thoughts on this steam iron.
First Impressions
Out of the box, the VIN412 looks to be good quality. It has a nice appearance with an ergonomic handle and a standard 300ml water tank. The ceramic soleplate looks really good. In terms of weight is about the usual average for a steam iron. It takes about a minute to heat up and like most Breville steam irons is very easy to fill straight from the tap.
You can get this iron in the red and silver colour shown above, and it's also available in black (VIN409), green (VIN393), and navy (VIN413). Please not the model numbers vary depending on colour so be careful when ordering.
Actual Performance
Heating up is very good and it took around one minute before I could use the iron. The temperature control is precise, and that's worth knowing if you need to iron delicate delicate fabrics. The 180g steam shot tackles most pf the stubborn creases really well, while the 35g continuous steam keeps the steam flowing smoothly. I also tried the vertical steaming which was pretty impressive, making quick work of drapes and delicate garments.

Some Reviewer Quotes
Quote | Aspect | Source |

"Great iron, with great functionality and a lot of power. Heat adjustable and with a steam or spray function, it makes getting creases out of clothes and sheets a doddle." | Performance | Shopaholic80, Breville |
"Is better than you think! I always thought that the noisier the steam function the better the iron. How wrong I was! This is very quiet and silently produces steam whilst ironing. Creases gone!" | Features | Kerry, Wayfair |
"My only criticism is that I find the cable a bit short and it is a struggle to reach the end of the ironing board when doing shirts etc." | Cons | Jenny Wren, B&Q |
"I'm not a fan of steam irons and only wanted a flat iron. This one is able to be used without steam. It's lightweight and looks lovely. The only difficulty I have is that the button for ejecting the steam is where I grip the iron to use it and I find it gets in the way a little. Overall this product is excellent and very good value for money. I would buy again." | Overall Performance | Faith E, Amazon UK |

VIN412 Comparison
I have compared this iron to two very similar models, the Tefal FV9845 and the Morphy Richards 302000. You can see that it compares well with those. It is similar in price, heats up faster with a better steam shot. It has similar features to the Russell Hobbs one and better than the Morphy Richards model.
