This iron has an RRP of £329.99, but you will be able to find this much cheaper online. Prices change all of the time though, so don't be afraid to shop around.
This is a good choice for anyone living in a hard water area, as this model has a removable scale collector which will prevent staining and limescale build-up
Tefal use their smart technology to balance heat and steam for every fabric at the touch of a button, with 7.5 bars of high pressure steam that deliver 500 g/min steam boost, and a large 1.6 litre removable water tank

The water tanks is large at 1.6 litres which of course means it doesn't need topped up very often.
This is enough for around 2 hours of ironing. This tank can be detached, filled and then attached again to the iron.
This iron uses 5 material settings of silk, wool, cotton, linen and synthetics. You select which one you want to use, and the iron automatically adjusts the temperature of the soleplate.
This model is part of Tefals Pro Express Care Anti Scale range.
That means it combines anti-stain and anti-scale technology, that provides double protection and precise ironing results.
- It is also worth mentioning that it has a cord rewinder, that rewinds the cord automatically when you’re done, and pushing it inside the base for quick and easy storage
- The iron locks securely on to the base and may be carried safely by the iron’s handle. That makes it safe to carry around and you can even store the iron while it’s still warm – no need to wait for it to cool down
- It also has a very good soleplate and that has an auto-clean coating that keeps it stain free

Tefal is part of a bigger group who are known as Groupe SEB and are a French company. A number of brands trade under this group name and include, KRUPS, Panex, Rochedo and Rowenta.
Tefal have been around since 1956 and started out as being the first company to make non-stick pots and pans using a Teflon coating. Since then they have gone on to become a household name throughout the UK.
