The Morphy Richards 333006 steam generator iron comes at a mid to high price tag and is available in green/white or red/white. It has a powerful 2600 watt boiler, has a constant steam of 120 gram per minute. Unfortunately it does not have any steam boost which we find strange in a model of this price.
The tank can hold 1 litre of water, which again we feel is a bit disappointing as a larger tank is always better. That being said, this is quite a compact iron all round and may suit a lot of users very well. We think this is really the market it is aimed at, for anyone who wants a more compact style of steam generator iron.

This iron has an RRP of £120.00 but you should be able to find this cheaper online. Prices change all of the time though, so don't be afraid to shop around.
It is not one of the cheapest models and Morphy Richards cover this with a 3 year warranty for peace of mind.
Most online buyers said that this was reasonable value for money, and that may seem true, when you compare it to other irons of this type, that can cost anything between £100-400. There are however several cheaper irons in the range that I know are much better. For me its not good value.
It will cut your ironing time in half, is one of the easiest to understand, setup and use, and the vertical steaming can be really handy as well.

A one litre tank lasts about 1.5-2 hours
This iron produces a lot of continuous steam which is perfect for vertical steaming.
Great for hanging curtains, freshening up bedding and even mattresses.
Buyers say this is very good for removing odours as well.
This model uses a replaceable antiscale cartridge. This helps to maintain the life and performance of your steam generator by filtering the water you use, providing a longer lasting performance.
Overall, we believe that the steam power really does quickly get rid of creases. The soleplate is one of the best types so no need to worry about snagging.
This 333006 model has a soft grip handle for comfort, is quick to heat up, a useful water apray and a 120 grams of constant steam output.

- The controls are simple to understand and it is easy to get set up and start - many of the higher end models have complex controls
- The more expensive models have large water tanks (1.8-2 litres) but this makes them bulky on the ironing board, and heavy to store away - this one has a smaller tank, so much more compact

The 333006 model is for certain priced for the first time buyer. It doesn't have a lot of features and really not a great deal can go wrong with it. It has the same UK price point as a higher end steam iron, and it is certainly an upgrade from those.
