For hotel, guest house and B&B owners, the trouser press is a useful additional feature. It is all about having items in a room that help the customer. Some customers will make good use of these, and others may never even look at them. However, they do help sell the room for some customers.
Yes you can put a pair of jeans into a trouser press and they do a remarkably good job. Jeans are however made of a much thicker fabric than your normal suit trousers or casual trousers. To get rid of wrinkles in any jean type material will need a longer setting. You will get away with a 30 minute setting, but ideally a 45 minute setting is much better.

- Open up the press by lifting up the lever arms and then place your trousers feet first into the press
- Take a little bit of time to smooth them out, and make sure the creases are carefully lined up
- Hold on to the top of the trousers and close the press by pushing down on the lever
- You can then select the timer - we would recommend 15 minutes for light casual trousers and either the 30 or 45 minute timer for heavier materials such as jeans.
